Big Tradie Park Up, Stewart Classic Car Museum and Robbies Rolleston Sun 14th Sept 2025
The Canterbury Mustang Owners Club enjoyed a fantastic day out on Sunday, 14 September, with a well-supported run that combined community support, motoring passion, and great company.
The morning began with a special display at the Big Tradie Park Up at Placemakers in Mandeville Street, Riccarton, where from 10.00 am to 11.30 am members proudly lined up their Mustangs. This display was held in support of suicide prevention with MATES in Construction, giving the Club the opportunity to contribute to an important cause while showcasing our cars to the public.
From there, the convoy cruised to Stewarts Classic Car Museum in Rolleston, where members enjoyed exploring the outstanding collection of vintage and classic vehicles. From rare marques to well-preserved motoring icons, there was plenty to admire, discuss, and compare with our own Mustangs. The museum visit offered a great chance to soak up automotive history and share stories among fellow enthusiasts.
The day concluded with a relaxed and social lunch at Robbies Restaurant in Rolleston, where good food, laughter, and lively conversation rounded off the outing in true Mustang Owners Club style.
The Club extends its thanks to all who attended and contributed to making the day such a success. Events like these remind us that the enjoyment of owning a Mustang is as much about the camaraderie as it is about the cars.
