Christchurch based national restaurant chain Joe’s Garage are leveraging their automotive theme by signing up as a gold sponsor of the forthcoming Ford National Mustang Convention, at the brand new $500 million Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre at Labour Weekend, October 2020.

From their original restaurant in Queenstown, Joe’s Garage has expanded with 14 restaurants throughout New Zealand, and no less than 6 in greater Christchurch, they are well placed to take a high profile role as over 200 Mustangs and their owners gather in the revitalised garden city.

Director Lucy Whelan is particularly enthusiastic. “Joe’s Garage point of difference is our automotive theme, and the friendly, fun atmosphere of our restaurants and the great times that we promise. We see that this is a natural fit with the forthcoming National Mustang Convention, and especially with Mustang owners themselves. They’re practical and enthusiastic people, and passionate about their cars, and that’s what Joe’s Garage is all about”.

Organising club, the Canterbury Mustang Owners Club, is delighted to see these two great brands, Mustang and Joe’s Garage, come together for the 2020 National Mustang Convention. “One of the great aspects of managing a convention of this scale is the great companies who have decided to work with us, and Joe’s Garage is very much one of them. They have a high profile here in Christchurch, but at the same time they are a national chain from Auckland to Southland. And the automotive connection makes our relationship a great fit”.
