Mustang Convention 2020 is almost back on the road!

9 Jun

We are buoyed by news that Level 1 is now in place, including unrestricted events and gatherings. Accordingly, we’re confident that Labour Weekend in October will see a fabulous Ford National Mustang Convention here in Christchurch. Before we can make that final commitment, we need to work through a number of planning details, previously held up during the lockdown phase. Examples include finalising contract details with replacement venues for Te Pae and other changes, confirmations with all our sponsors, and budget updates. We couldn’t complete these steps until L1 was a reality.

We will be progressing these items with urgency over the next ten days, and hope to be in a position  to release the complete Convention agenda, and the full registration pack for attendees, later this month. In the meantime, we have 163 pre-registrations, and are open to further pre-registrations as per the process outlined at https://canterburymustang.org.nz/pre-register-for-the-2020-convention .

After the happenings of recent months, and the associated challenges and issues for us all, we think we’ll all be ready for a big Mustang get-together and party in October!

We’ll keep in close touch.

Best wishes from the Canterbury Mustang Owners Club
