2025 Ford Mustang GTD Starts Testing At Famous Track: Video

10 Jun

The 2025 Ford Mustang GTD is a lean, mean, high-winged machine that’s as track-ready as a street-legal pony car can get. It was expected to hit the pavement and start turning laps at the Nürburgring this summer, but the high-performance pony car has already been spotted pacing the famous racetrack.

For those who are unaware, customers who wanted a 2025 Ford Mustang GTD were asked to go through an extensive ordering process that required a large deposit to complete. Buyers had to plunk down over $165,000 just to hold their place in line, and the overall cost of the supercar is well over $235,000. The application window closed last month, and, unsurprisingly, 20 percent of Mustang GTD customers come from a motorsports background, which is a fitting  base for the borderline overkill supercar.
