2024 Ford Mustang Production Has Begun

We had been waiting quite some time for the arrival of the all-new, S650 Ford Mustang prior to its debut last September. The next generation pony car carries on a tradition that has endured since the mid 1960s, giving customers a good old fashioned V8-powered rear-wheel drive sports car with an available manual transmission and for now, no electrified powertrain option.
2024 Ford Mustang production began today, May 1st, at Flat Rock, just a few weeks after 2023 Mustang production ended.The S550 model enjoyed a pretty long run, with the very first example emerging from the Flat Rock plant back in August 2014, but now, we turn the page to an entirely new era.
