Ford Mustang Dark Horse Beats Dodge Charger Sixpack In Drag Race: Video

The Ford Mustang Dark Horse launched as a new range-topping model when the S650 pony car debuted for the 2024 model year, and it immediately proved that it was up to that task. In fact, the Dark Horse managed to defeat a variety of foes in a drag race - including the Lotus Emira, Toyota GR Supra, BMW M2, Chevy Camaro SS, and Dodge SRT Challenger Scat Pack Wide Body Shakedown Last Call, and now, it has taken down the brand new Dodge Charger Sixpack, too.

In this new video from Throttle House, we get to see the Ford Mustang Dark Horse square off against the Dodge Charger Sixpack, which is interesting for a number of reasons. The newest gas-powered Charger has ditched its V8 for the twin-turbocharged Hurricane inline-six, which makes a healthy 550 horsepower and 531 pound-feet in high-output form, flowing to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.
